Walt Blackman

COMBAT VETERAN

CONSERVATIVE FIGHTER

CONSTITUTIONAL PATRIOT

Walt Blackman is a conservative, a proud father, a devoted husband, who served in the United States Army for nearly 22 years as a Front Line Tank Commander. He earned a Bronze Star for combat action in Iraq as well as a Meritorious Service Medal. He served seven tours of duty in some of the most dangerous battlefields on Earth, including Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq, where he fought in the Second Battle of Fallujah, the bloodiest battle in the Iraq War.

Upon completing active duty, Walt continued his service by running for and winning a seat in the Arizona State Legislature. As a state representative, Walt has been one of the most effective legislators at the Arizona Capitol. He has a proven ability to find solutions for the complex issues that Arizona currently faces. Walt understands the true price of freedom, and he knows what’s at stake if we lose it. Walt served his country faithfully for 22 years; he hopes to continue that service in Congress!
